In order to successfully travel by canoe, one must learn some basic paddling techniques such as knowing which side to paddle on to make the canoe go left or right. One other 
key rule of canoeing is never stand up in the boat. Unfortunately, the two campers in this picture missed that lesson of the day. Now, Joshua Baroni and Charlie Leich, were indeed in that lesson of the day and they did quite well in the canoeing and kayaking activities.
