The Greenhouse Effect

I think most of us have probably heard of the terms "glass ceiling", "umbrella covering", and the "greenhouse effect", but all these canopy terms have nothing on describing God's watchcare over his children as they experience life. Thus far at camp, I am already reminded of His ability to control the weather for the protection and pleasure of His people.

Though warm for sure, Monday was very overcast at HPC and made for a much easier checking in process and just as everyone had gathered into the dinning hall for dinner, God sent the rain to cool everything off and water the soft green grass all over camp that is so fun to run through. The rain let up just as the kids were finishing eating and preparing to go to their first Bible time. Since the campers go to Bible time as one large group under an outside pavilion, its important for it not to be raining hard or else you won't be able to hear the speaker, so once again God was working the weather conditions in our favor to help us get His message shared to all the boys and girls at camp this week.

Today has started out as a beautiful day, sunny, but still cool from the late showers yesterday. Its shaping up to be another idealistic day in the beautiful hills of High Point Camp!
