One quite familiar with handling local media, Steve Reynolds, of Capital Baptist Church has spoken often to reporters about the importance of a proper diet and good exercise. He speaks often of "living" food and "dead" food. Here at HPC, there is always a well-stocked salad bar of healthy "living" food as Pastor Steve would say, ready for any child to have as part of their meal. One of CBC's own, Rebecca Musgrove, found this offering for lunch on Tuesday and we are sure made both her Senior Pastor and her Momma proud by passing on the greasy grilled cheese and eating just a big salad!
Despite its amazing nutritional value, local media does believe this "light" lunch did make our model Bod4God child aggressively hungry when dinner rolled around. Seen here, Rebecca is downing her chicken fajita faster than a sink disposal and almost quicker than local media can get a shot. When seconds were called, our speed eater also became one of the big eaters as she was at the front of the line having masterfully weaved her way through traffic and the big kids to get a second serving.
Local media had its wager for "big eater" on Kiyoshi Shiraishi who was shamefully blown away by the tiniest of challengers. Local media has decided to place his bet on the little people from now on and is currently wondering what kind of eater our smallest camper, Jenna Chanchu, is.
"Pancake Day" where we separate the men from the boys (or should it be girls?) is still to come...
