In this photo, if you look carefully you can see one of the smallest campers this week standing amongst the boy counselor staff. This is Tyler. But be not deceived and think that he is a mere boy among men. Rather, local media believes his the man among the boys. It takes a lot granted to be a counselor and keep up with a dozen children at a camp, but you try being the smallest at a camp and only eight years old and keep up with guys up to four times your age and size!
The rogue reporter can fondly remember his days when he was like Tyler and because of his size, got free rides on the shoulders of the boy counselors all the way to the swimming pool every day. Did he ever feel like a king! And though the prospects of going to camp at times leading up to this point for Tyler were filled with anxiety, he is now king and a man amongst boys for having had the courage to seize this moment of adventure for his life.
