Amidst these standing formations of plastic pipelines, CBC has found its queen! For one of the three daily cabin activities, Brooke McDermott, Sarah Shatzoff, and Stephanie Dill played a game called “Ninth Square”. In this game, the pipelines separate nine girls into their own square. The camper in the middle of all of the squares is the “Queen”, and starts off with the ball, which then must be thrown above the pipelines to a different square. If a camper fails to keep the ball from hitting the ground of their square, they are out, and all of the girls rotate to the next square. Brooke successfully stayed in the squares long enough to become the first CBC Queen! It’s a tough game folks, and not for the faint of heart; our girls showed the rest of the campers what it takes to be royalty.
