Several of our girls really just have one goal in mind at HPC and that is to ride the horses. When Leah Hickman was asked what she wanted to do first when she got to camp, it was guessed that maybe she'd like to see the lake-no? or maybe the giant water slide-no? of course not! Silly Pastor Josh! Everyone knows camp is all about the horses!
Despite no rides yet, horses have already been seen as a part of our camp experience. On the way up in the bus, we passed through an Amish community and our bus got stuck following behind two horse drawn buggies and wagons. Needless to say, Leah's face was plastered against the glass during the whole "horse-tail gaiting experience." Leah even was game for being droped off the bus right there and catching a ride in the buggy the rest of the way to camp, no matter how long it took!
