Probably one of the most extreme rides of all HPC is the zip line, an extremely tall tower that has a cable stretched from its pinacle and all the way across to the other side of the lake. Only the most daring kids take on this challenge. Those of you who remember this blog from last year might remember that some of the youngest girls "showed up" the local news reporter and he had to defend his male ego by going down the line himself (now if only he wouldn't scream like a girl he might save that ego)
This year, the first two he encountered were again two of our younger girls in their first year of camp. You'd think these types would fear such an intimidating ride, but if you thought that, you'd be wrong. Lillie Orlando and Megan Cradduck both took the ride in their very first opportunity to do so and are planning on going again!
