Maybe you've been wondering what all the piratey talk is all about that you've been reading in some of the blog posts. Well, this year's camp theme has been a Pirate theme with the two competing teams being the Raiders vs. the Buccaneers. Every camper finds themselves on one side or the other. Regardless though of which side you find yourself on, everyone is united together under the the singular purpose of knowing and growing in Jesus Christ. This year's theme verse has been Matthew 6:21 which says, "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." The campers have all been challenged this week by camp speaker, Ed Dunlop to think strongly about their treasure. Parents, have you thought strongly about what you consider your treasure and where and how you are storing it up? Your camper child(ren) will be glad to help make sure you're being a proper pirate with your personal treasures with what they've learned this week!
