Spiritual fasting or living a life of penance? The rogue reporter hoped that his years of spiritual guidance and his personal example to live a pious life had finally brought some of his young converts to a new spiritual level marked by a time of fasting. Sadly this reporter learned information he wished he hadn’t and that the position taken by these boys was rather one of serving out penance for their collective choice to be the messiest cabin of the whole lot and thus were forbidden to eat until everyone else was served. Sadly, when this reporter turned to pastor mode and demanded the guilty party step forward for having lead the rest of the sheep astray into such sloppy disarray, it all became a blame game of pointing fingers. ~the rogue reporter
