This year CBC's efforts to improve on the HPC experience for all took a great step forward with the addition of an assistant to the week of camp to help Pastor Josh keep up with all the campers. This year David Salazar, son of CBC's Spanish church pastor, was hired to primarily be the middleman between the Spanish church campers and their parents and church family back home. He has been maintaining a new blog in Spanish, communicating with all the parents of Spanish Church kids, and hanging out with the kids. We hope that this effort has proved to be a real blessing and encouragement to all the Spanish church family and their participating kids. We thank you David, for giving your week to serve God in this way.
Nathaly's Blog
If you can read Spanish and would like to see what is being posted on our other camp blog, check out what Nathaly is writing by clicking here!
Quick Tip!
Older posts that maybe you've already read are often modified and added to! As the week goes on, some of the older posts will have videos, pictures, and links to other videos added to them as they have become available or been edited. So go back to those favorite blog posts and see if there's anything new!
Quick Tips!
Only about six or so blog posts will fit on the main "home" page before they drop out of sight, however, they are not gone!
You will see a complete list of the posts in the "2012 Posts" listing below this and you can also use the search box at the top to type in any topic or child's name and see what all has been written and posted!

Can You Hear Me Now?
Clearly the Verizon Network has never been to HPC. Cell phones get terrible reception!
You can still call us, but our phones will most likely go straight to voicemail. Never fear though! Our phones let us know right away that we have a message and so we just have to go to this one special spot that's been found where we can get a cell signal and we'll call you right back! You can also text us if you wish.
For English church kids:
Pearl Lee at 571-839-9910
For Spanish Church kids:
Nathaly Mejia at 703-835-6871
For all other needs or inquiries or if you can't reach Pearl or Nathaly:
Pastor Josh Baker at #571-230-2762

Digital letter writing
If you didn't get a chance to write any letters or you're out of stamps to send your child mail while at camp, never fear! You can still send them notes via these email address and they will be printed out and included in the daily mail. Please do not send any more emails after Thursday evening as there will not be another opportunity to print and give them to the campers after this point.
For English Church kids:
email Pearl at lee.pearlj@yahoo.com
For Spanish Church kids:
email Nathaly at nathalymejia95@gmail.com
If your email gets rejected or you have problems, try sending to Pastor Josh's email at jbaker@capitalbaptist.org
